flag3Next Monday, May 26th is Memorial Day. It is a federal holiday that always falls on the last Monday of every May. This special day reminds us all to stop and reflect on those who have given their lives in service to this country throughout many wars and conflicts.

While there are many ways that people enjoy this three-day weekend and beginning to summer, including picnics, the beach, block parties and barbecues, there are also some local Long Beach events this Memorial Day.flag2

Queen Mary Salutes U.S. Military Personnel
The Queen Mary will offer free admission to all U.S. active and retired military personnel on Memorial Day. General Admission includes a self-guided tour and the Ghosts & Legends Show.
