Doing the Turkey Trot in Long Beach Before the Big Thanksgiving Feast

afm1One of our annual traditions here in Long Beach is here again and is one of the best ways to spend Thanksgiving morning.

That is the Turkey Trot in Long Beach, which offers a great way to get some exercise in and support local charities and food banks.afm7

The race takes place at Marina Vista Park at 5200 Eliot Street near the beach so you will have great views while you take on the 5k, 10k, or half marathon.

It’s a fun time for the whole family and a great way to burn off those extra calories you plan to consume over Thanksgiving!

There’s even a special racecourse for the kids so they can also get involved!

Don’t forget to stop by our Long Beach flower shop and pick up or order Thanksgiving flowers for your home or as a gift for your host. You can also get Thanksgiving centerpieces.

On our website you can also order fresh baked treats that are a great addition to the Thanksgiving table. Every item is baked fresh daily at our Long Beach bakery partner.afm4

Although we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so our staff can celebrate with their family and friends, we do plan on re-opening on Friday just in time for the start of holiday shopping with Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.afm3

Don’t forget to stop by and support your local Long Beach flower shop plus order your holiday flowers and get some gifts checked off the list!
