Make a Difference Day in Long Beach

This Saturday is Make a Difference Day. This happens every year on the fourth Saturday of October. It’s a time to celebrate those service hearts throughout the country that want to change the world for the better. These people want to help others by working on individual, family, and group projects.

There are many projects right here in Long Beach that you can get involved with this Saturday. Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Long Beach

Here, in Long Beach, we are very busy participating in local community events that bring awareness to breast cancer. Each October, the month is devoted to this horrible disease so that a cure may be found and we don’t have to lose loved ones and treasured members of our local Long Beach area.

If you are looking for a way to get involved, there are many events, fundraisers, and campaigns planned throughout October to join in on. This includes various races and local charity events. Be sure to check online for more information on various events so you can get involved.
